Trying to work on my own little bit here... 5 Years, 7 Months ago
So, Lifehacker showed me that crazy awesome Enigma Rainmeter skin.
I wanna put my own little personal spin on it, but I'm stuck on a certain point.
One of the gadgets just shows the days of the week, Monday, Tuesday, etc.

I don't know if anyone here plays Mabinogi, each day represents a new "season" in the game. Monday is Alban Eiler, Saturday is Samhain, for example.

Is there a way I can do some sort of "if today is Monday, display Alban Eiler" thing in a gagdet?

If the name is shown as a normal string you can use the substitute to change it's value. E.g. something like this:

Code:

Substitute="Monday":"Alban Eiler","Saturday":"Samhain"

Awesome, thanks a lot!

Is there any sort of documentation to Rainmeter? I'm still scratching my head to how this syntax works...

Rainmeter's help file has the list of all commands but you probably get better idea of the syntax if you just download bunch of skins and see how they are made.

And the documentation will help me understand how everything works. Thanks a lot!
