Hi,

First, thanks for making such a cool product. I have been using the free version for years. I am thinking of migrating to the paid version as need to view my appoinments from different pc's. My questions with the pro version are:

1. When you buy the license or buy rainlendar pro, is it valid for life? I can freely upgrade/get the pro version the software as long as I am using rainlendar. If a version 3.0 is coming out, then I can upgrade it freely?

2. I have seen that it can sync with google calander. This is good feature. Can you add items in Google calendar, and have it sync automatically with Rainlendar, or does the software only work one way? I have Rainlendar for my home pc, and sometimes I don't remember my appoinments at work, so I was thinking of updating my appointments through google calander, then coming back home to see that all appoinments have been synced. I have given google calendar a go, but it does not have a permanent desktop calendar which you can easily change events and the to do list is not available in google calendar if I am not mistaken. I am just affraid that the sync from google's site to rainlender will mess up my default rainlender additions.

I do understand your concern about this, as far as "we" can read it says 2.x - So im not acutally sure about this. Maybe we can get a comment from Rainy about this

Its a two-way sync! I have rainlendar at home, and at work, works great! You can select wich calendar the entry you add will show up in. You can add as many calendars as you want.

If you havent purchased it yet, go ahead, you wont regred it!

The two way sync does not ditort the data right? If I add through Google, no weird items will come out from google entry on native Rainlendar?

Contemplating to buy. Wait for Rainy to reply on that. Missed my chance some time ago when £ to Euro conversion's were great. Looks like need to wait for Greece to go into economic meltdown dragging the entire Euro currency with it then

The price for such a nice application is really low! Ive been using it for some years now.

Since I started using rainlendar it has always been 2.x - as far as i remember, (back from 2007) - I have only purchased the license for one time. I dont think there will pop out a new Rainlendar3 soon.

I can't say anything about the upgrade policy for the 3.0 since I don't even know if such will ever exist. I'll most likely be making the 2.x versions for a quite a while still.

The Google calendar and Rainlendar's local events are kept separate so they don't mess up each other. You can try how it works by downloading and installing the Pro version. It is fully working even without the license (apart from the UNREGISTERED texts in front of the events).
