The license is personal, so you can use it on as many computers (and OperatingSystems) as you like - as long as it's only you who use the licensed version. But the license is for Rainlendar version 2, you will have to buy a new license when upgrading to version 3 (whenever that will be). And since it's personal, it doesn't matter if the computer is new or old.
