So, what happens when you try to launch it? Do you get any errors if you try to run Rainlendar from the command line?

I just go to Office - Rainlender and it does nothing. How do I run it from the command line?

This is the error message I got, when I did it in the terminal screen.

rainlendar2: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

You are missing the SDL library (and I seem to be missing it from the dependencies). You should be able to install it with the Synaptic (if that's included in Xubuntu) or with apt-get from the command line. At least in Ubuntu the package is called "libsdl1.2debian".
