Multiplying calendar event display 1 Year, 8 Months ago
I had this happen once before but I can't remember how to fix it. There is one calendar I start in the morning and there is one entry on the days it is active. Later on there are two for those days. Then there are three. I've had as many as four before I refresh the calendar and let it start again. It is an auto updating file and perhaps it is the calendar that is broken. I like the sports events with auto update as they change the venue, broadcast, and times as they change in real time.

Is the calendar local, Google Calendar or network shared calendar?

I don't use Google since they had an error. This is basically a web-based ics file that is updated several times a day - times, carriers, scores. I have others that do the same but I'm not sure what might be different. And after 2 weeks of it there doesn't seem to be a problem today...

here's the URL www.nba.com/blazers/schedule/2012/schedule.ics

If you don't keep an offline copy, or don't try to add/remove any event in the calendar, then it's possible it be a problem on the ics file on the server.
Maybe they fixed the code which creates the ics file.
If it happens again, try searching in the ics file for the date when the event reoccurs (YYYYMMDD format). If it is duplicated, then you found the problem.

The feed is using a timestamp in the UID field which is a bit suspicious as if they change the UID of existing events Rainlendar will consider them as new events which might lead to duplicates.

But if the file is updated and no offline copy is kept...
Does Rainlendar update or refresh the calendar? Because I think if the UID changes then the old UID event must be removed...
