Future for Rainlendar? 1 Year, 1 Month ago
Hello, Kimmo.

I have just a quick question (perhaps answered somewhere else already).

I am new to Rainlendar and don't really have much awareness of its history. I am considering registering it, but I don't want to be left stranded at some future date with an abandoned program that I then have to migrate away from to something else.

Can you comment on your long-term intent for Rainlendar? How can I know that it won't just be another one of those apps that I register today and then find abandoned a year or two from now?

Thank you in advance,

Mark

Hi

For me Rainlendar is already very good!
but I think a possible evolution for W8 Modern UI...

Creator Rainy is the only one who can answer for the long-term!

Oh, trust me, I'm not questioning whether or not it is good. The fact that I am interested at all already says that I think it is good enough to consider purchasing.

I have purchased *plenty* of apps though that were great when I bought them and died not long after that. Every time that it happens, I kick myself for having bought the damned thing at all.

I just don't want that to happen with this one.

Thanks,

Mark

Well, the backlog for Rainlendar is very long so I'm not running out of things to do any day soon. The plan is to keep improving Rainlendar at least as long as people keep buying it.

The possibility of syncing with windows live calendar is what I'm holding out for before I purchase the registration. My life runs off that calendar as it seems to be the only calendar that handle to-do's properly with my nokia phone along with general calendar functions.
