TOPIC: Future for Rainlendar?

Re:Future for Rainlendar? 1 Year, 1 Month ago
The next version will be a minor release with just some bug fixes. I haven't yet prioritized anything for the next major release but what I've been considering is improvements to the printing support and better handling of the timezones in Google calendar. Perhaps also some kind of today view which gets requested quite frequently.

Windows Modern UI support is a bit tricky since Microsoft seems to want the developers to create the apps again from scratch just for metro and that does not work very well with applications like Rainlendar which works on multiple platforms.

Windows calendar support has been in my backlog quite a long time already but so far there has not been a proper API that would have supported all the features that Rainlendar needs. I'll need to check if there has been improvements related to this lately.

Correct me if I'm wrong as this isn't my area of expertise, but isn't this exactly what you need for making this work with windows live calendar?

Yes, except that they should fix at least this limitation first before it is actually useful:

Note You cannot create recurring events programmatically.
