Combined View for Events and Tasks 3 Years, 1 Month ago
I am using my tasks only with a date. Therefore, i like to see my events and tasks in the same view. Is there any way to display events and tasks in the same panel?

The tasks and events have different functionality (you can e.g. sort the tasks) so it's not possible to show them in the same list.

Thanks for the response. Is it then possible to specify a fixed height for a combination of the events and tasks panels?

For example for a fixed height of 500px:

* If I have very few events and tasks, they should be shown one after another, leaving space at the bottom.
* If I have many events, the tasks should be pushed down.
* If I have too much for the complete height, scrollbars should show up.

Possible?

The windows work that way by default. If one window grows larger it will push the one below to lower. You can also define the maximum height for the list windows from the window settings. Note that this depends on the skin you are using so the height settings might be missing from some skins.

If you want to use just a single window you can use the "Sidebar" window but that will always have a fixed height. Making it to adjust its size according to the content might be possible but it could get quite tricky to make.

Before, when I was learn how to create skin, I also have according to Help-File's Skinning Tutorial, and have created a very simple skin, same with you, only include calendar, events_list, todo_list, alarm, tooltip.
A few days ago, I combined events_list and todo_list to "Events_ToDo".

You can download and see the attached file: Tutorial.r2skin
