iCloud (CalDAV) not working anymore? Solution! 5 Months ago  
iCloud has stopped working a few days ago.

Here is how to fix it:

1. Enable 2-factor-authentification on one of your devices
2. Login to appleid.apple.com
3. Under security click on "App Specific Password"
4. Generate new password and use with Rainlendar

As a reminder, to add iCloud synchronization to Raindlendar:
1. Add new calendar
2. Select CalDAV
3. Enter
URL: p01-caldav.icloud.com (you might want to add https:// before the URL)
Username: your-apple-id@email.com
Password: The password you generated above
4. Click "Select Calendar"

Can I deactivate the 2-factor-authentification after that?? Or won't it work after that again?

Step 3: 3. Enter URL: p01-caldav.icloud.com (you might want to add https:// before the URL)

won't work on my PC, but using the old entry p20-caldav.icloud.com/<some privat digits>/principal/ with leading https:// and the new App Specific Password instead the old MacID solved the problem.
