Question: alarm window 7 Years, 4 Months ago
Hello!

I have a question regarding the alarm settings. Every time an alarm jumps off, if I am doing something else, say surfing the internet, the alarm window will hide behind the firefox window. If I turned off my speaker, I would never know there is an alarm for me. How can I change the setting so that the alarm window will come on top of everything until I close it (like in Active Desktop Calender)?

Thanks.

The alarm is opened on top by default. Check that the "Options->Advanced->Keep alarm always on top" is set to True.

Thank you for your answer.

Yes I've noticed it and the parameter has already been set to "true". Still if I am doing something else, the alarm window will not jump on top. The method I am currently using to avoid this is to set the Rainlendar position as always "on top". This way I always get the alarm window on top, but at the same time I have to set the transparency as "100%" so that the calendar will not hide anything behind.

Any other tips regarding this? Thanks a lot.

You could try without the native transparency (Options->Advanced->Transparency type) to see if that makes any difference. The transparent windows don't always respect the z-order.
