Speaking personally, the only real lack on the Grid Calendar (as on the beta) is the (ability to have the) forward/back buttons. But, although I myself wouldn't use them, the other options I mentioned (not show weeknums, show adjacent days, choose month arrangement) are ones that I would expect to see for completeness if nothing else - their absence is the sort of blemish that tends to spoil an excellent product. But I wouldn't argue for any other layouts.
