Recurrence on certain days? 6 Years, 9 Months ago
Hi,
I wonder if it's possible to set a recurring event on particular days. Like Work 0600-1600 Monday to Friday.
Cheers

And how can one most easily create a running schedule, like "Two days on, one day off"?

If you create a weekly recurring event you can choose the weekdays when it should be shown. The other option is to make multple events and set them to repeat every 3 days (or however you wish them to repeat).

Oh, awesome! I hadn't even looked into the Weekly recurrence, this actually makes alot of things alot easier, I have created daily tasks with a 7 day recurrence, if you understand.

But would it be possible to inclube a feature in the future that lets one create an event with a running recurrence?

For example:

Running, Monday Tuesday, not on Wednesday. Thursday Friday, not on Saturday. Sunday Monday, not on Tuesday. And so on.

I'm not sure if that's supported by the iCalendar standard. And even if it was, it would make the recurrence calculations more complex and it's probably not worth it.

Alright.

I found a way to do it pretty easy.

If to say I want to have a 2 days on 1 day off schedule I make one week with

_____Mon Tue Wed Thur Fri Sat Sun
week 1 On, On, Off, On, On, Off, On
week 2 On, Off, On, On, Off, On, On
week 3 Off, On, On, Off, On, On, Off

And set each week to repeat every three weeks.
