Larger Font 6 Years, 7 Months ago
I have Rainlendar Lite (the free version). Is there any way that I can enlarge the font of the tags that appear when I put the pointer about a date? It definitely make it easier for me read the data.

Thank you.

You can increase the text size from Options->Advanced->Font scale.

This works fine in Windows XP but not in Vista.
Not working in Vista seems to be the default, since options as font enlarging, fixed positioning, language selection work all fine in Xp and not in Vista. In vista the settings are apparently stored for the session. After any restart of the computer the settings all return to the default.

There is probably something wrong with your installation since the font scale worked just fine when I tried it on Vista. Did you install a portable version? Is the settings file (rainlendar2.ini) located in C:/Users/Rainy/.rainlendar2 folder?

I have downloaded rainlendar, and installed it in C:/program Files.
C:/users/Rainy/.Rainlendar2 was not created.
I just made it and added Rainlendar2.ini.
Indeed the font could be increased, but the underlaying problem still exist after restarting Rainlendar returns to the default settings, so my settings are not stored.
May be I have to start all over with the installation, I however have no idea where it went wrong. In XP I did the same and that works fine.
In the meantime I have in both Vista and Xp no idea where data are stored. Transferring events between desktop and notebook I do by exporting to a file I created in my documents, and from there I can copy to the other system followed by importing in Rainlendar.
I like the system, but I rather had it working properly in order to enable working without tricks.
Both in XP and Vista I was not able to store new categories although I followed the instructions

Best regards, Huub
