The ~/.rainlendar2/rainlendar2.ini is the settings file and yes, you can try to remove it (Rainlendar will recreate it automatically on startup). It might help if the file has gotten corrupted for some reason. If that doesn't help can you check if the rainlendar2.log file is located in the ~/.rainlendar2/ folder? If it is, can you attach it?

Try to run this from the terminal and see if Rainlendar can start after that:

Code:

echo "[GlobalSettings]" > ~/.rainlendar2/rainlendar2.ini

Note that the command will erase all your Rainlendar settings so run it only if you have never been able to start the application.

Thanks again for the great work on the OSX version rainy!

I have a few things that I would like to see in future versions, maybe you're already working on them I don't know

- iCal support: I now sync my calendars via icalx.com but a direct sync between ical and rainlendar would be really nice.
- Growl support: For pop-up notifications

And another thing, It would be really nice if it would be easier to create multiple to do lists, I know there is some way to do it now but its kinda complicated. I would like to just be able to click "new to do list" somewhere and give it a name.
