Hi there!
I managed it to delete the standard categories and to put my custom ones there instead over advanced options.

Is it really so difficult to get different colours 4 the events like it is described in this thread:

I'm not into html, xml and stuff.
An option in the advanced options would be great.

by the way - how to get different logos for the event categories?

At the moment the only way to change the appearance of the events is to modify the xml files.

are there any changes planned for new versions?
So is it worth to wait to hve it in an easier way?

There are some plans but creating an UI for the event appearance is not exactly an easy task so I don't know when it is going to be implemented.

BTW, the logos are done in the XML file too.
