rainlendar + outlook + active sync + pda? 7 Years, 10 Months ago
hi mates, here's my question
i have a server (win2000) running, i have a smartphone with windows on it.
till now i entered my tasks/schedules into the pda or the outlook on the server and they syncronisized.

i heard about rainlendar and thought it would be nice if my wife could also use the calendar data during she's at work and enter data to it, so i can see them on my pda when syncronisized.

is this constellation possible?

will rainlendar sync automaticaly with my pda?

if so can i sync my pda via internet with rainlendar?

i'm looking for quite a while for such a solution already, but the only alternative was to buy the microsoft exchange server (i'm not that stupid!)

If your PDA and the sync application that you use support ics files then at least in theory this would be possible. However since I haven't heard of any such setup my guess is that this is not possible.

Direct sync with PDAs is probably not going to be implemented any time soon. There are some plans to support two way sync with Outlook in the future which would make it possible to get Rainlendar's events at least into some PDAs.
