I am making my modified Shadow4 skin and I am trying to make it easier to adjust font sizes and styles in the Event List window.

I tried adding some variables to skin.xml and then referencing them in elements.xml but they were ignored. I did see them in the custom settings box of the Event List but no matter what I entered, the setting was ignored.

Does Rain2 parse variables in elements.xml or only for the other files like calendar.xml etc.

This feature should be added!!

Also it is not documented how to make font italic. I finally figured it out (add style="ITALIC" to the elements.xml) but it took a lot of trial and error, you should document somewhere all the styles supported by elements.xml.

I don't know about the variables in elements.xml, but as for the documentation. Rainy has been working hard an the application itself and the documentation will be coming latter. If you have any good tips for skinning then I would suggest you write them down at my forum post.
