Working on Windows Vista - Version Rainlendar-Lite-2.8.1-32bit

Thought that I was going to minimize the calendar. However, when I right clicked the mouse button and hid the calendar, I can't unhide the calendar to see it again. When I try to restart the program, it says that it is already running do I want to start another instance. I do, but it is hidden also.

Tried the following and nothing works:

• restarting the machine.

• Control + F4 to try to bring up April's calendar.

• Control + 1 to toggle calendar.

I skimmed the guide and couldn't find any help. Any ideas?

You're trying to say that you can't view the app (windows) or a calendar?

If is the first case, do the following:
* Close Rainlendar2 if you have it open (with Task Manager or whatever)
* Go the the user folder: www.rainlendar.net/cms/index.php?option=com_easyfaq&Itemid=26#faq1
* Open the rainlendar2.ini file.
* Search for WindowVisible=0
* Change 0 to 1
* Start Rainlendar2

That should bring back all the windows.
PS: Don't you have the tray icon? This is another way to access the options menu.

Thanks so much. It worked. So others know, there are 9 of the 'windowvisible=' in the ini file.


Is there some way to keep the calendar minimized, but running so that alarms work, but it is not on my desktop? I don't seem to see that in the user guide. I may have missed it.

Well, you can hide the calendar window like you already did but I suggest that you keep the tray icon enabled so you have some way to access e.g. the settings if you need to. On Windows you can also create hotkeys which can toggle the window visibility.
