TOPIC: Calendar events date not correct in locale
#16305
Calendar events date not correct in locale 2 Years, 10 Months ago
I use Linux Ubuntu. The dates are shown in the computer as MM/DD/YYYY, however Rainlendar2 shows the date format as DD/MM/YYYY. Linux derives the locale for date formats from a file in /etc/default/locale. Where exactly does Rainlendar derive the default date and time formats? Possibly I can put the data in the correct location for Rainlendar. That would solve the problem. My Windows computer displays Rainlendar dates correctly.

I'm not sure about Linux but at least on Windows the framework tries to match the locale with the used language.

Yes, windows does, that is why I asked for the exact location that the Linux version looks for the information. If I knew that I could, possibly, put the locale info at that location.
