Help...I have just reformatted my Windows 7 and reinstalled Rainlendar.
Alas I can't find the file location to restore all my events and to do lists.
Can anyone help please

Hi Rainy,
I followed your directions and I found '.rainledar2' file, but the contents that were backed up were dated 14 12 11., and therefore are empty.
What I was hoping to find was the files from before my Refomat of Windows 7 a week ago.
May I say that all of my document file pre-reformat were successfully saved and have been restored.
Can you tell me if there is another place to look?
I have come to rely on rainlendar and it's dependability to alert me to all my upcoming events.......
I love the program and i have recommended Railendar to my friends.

Did you reformat Windows 7 or reinstalled?
Formatting a drive (Win7 is an operating system) cause the lost of all files. When format a drive you need to create a backup of the files in an external drive (USB, floppy disk, CD). www.ehow.com/how_5830103_reformat-windows-computer.html

If you reinstalled, (I never done this before with Win7 but) I know that when installing, Win7 creates a Windows.old folder (or something like that). Try to find an "old" folder in C:\Users, and then search for the .rainlendar2 folder inside.

Where were those documents which has been restored? In the same drive?
