Tray icon in Ubuntu 11.10 with Unity 2 Years, 8 Months ago
Hey there,

I'm using Rainlendar for several years on Windows and Linux (Ubuntu). Since switching to Unity with Ubuntu 11.04 the tray icon of Rainlender is no longer available. Is this a known issue and if so exists a workaround?

I'm using Rainlendar 2.9 (b111) 64 bit.

Thanks in advance!

Unity shows tray icons only for whitelisted applications: askubuntu.com/questions/66579/where-are-my-tray-icons-in-the-unity-2d-panel

Thanks Rainy!

Adding Rainlendar2 (case sensitive) worked for me:

Code:

gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['JavaEmbeddedFrame', 'Wine', 'scp-dbus-service', 'Update-notifier', 'Rainlendar2']"
