Weird backgroundcolor 2 Years, 5 Months ago
Hi,

I have made a skin with no images. Just only colors.

The weird thing is that the background color (which is pretty light) and maybe the other colors but I can't see it that good are kinda messy.

See the attachted image.

The code i have used is:
<solid id="solid.white" color="245, 245, 245" />

When I make a printscreen and I go around this background with the colorpicker it displays 2 colors:
F5F5F5 and F3F3F3

Why it that?

The problem is with the background only or with the other solid colors too? (I also found F4F4F4)

One thought I have is how the color is drawed in the screen. E.g., if you're using Windows, check if ClearType is disabled. ClearType modify the pictures before drawing in the screen (works better on LCD screens but bad with CRT).

It's only the background color. Text colors are correct.

I have ClearType disabled.

Looks like some kind of dithering pattern. Do you have 32bit or 16bit colors enabled in Windows? Is there any difference if you set the scaling to TILE or STRETCH in the <image> element?
