Did some research with the help of
openSUSE Forums.
The files
Rainlendar (
non-Debian package) has trouble with are NOT actual libraries, they are Linux Shortcuts (
have the shortcut-arrow icon) to libraries.
The files do exist, but
Rainlendar dose not handle them properly. The shortcuts point to the actual library file, with all the version info.
SUGGESTION: Rainlendar developers need to make an RPM for Rainlendar. Properly configured of course, since non-Debian Linux (
that I know of) can install from an RPM. They run just like a DEB package.
