FYI: openSUSE is not a Debian distribution, it is GRUB distribution. So DEB packages will not work, YaST cannot install them.

Did some research with the help of openSUSE Forums.

The files Rainlendar (non-Debian package) has trouble with are NOT actual libraries, they are Linux Shortcuts (have the shortcut-arrow icon) to libraries.

The files do exist, but Rainlendar dose not handle them properly. The shortcuts point to the actual library file, with all the version info.

SUGGESTION: Rainlendar developers need to make an RPM for Rainlendar. Properly configured of course, since non-Debian Linux (that I know of) can install from an RPM. They run just like a DEB package.
