Can't add new Skin addon. 9 Months, 1 Week ago

Love Rainlendar! Just what I was looking for. Downloaded the Shadow4-Widgets.r2skin. Had to rename it to drop the ".zip" extention. Dragged it to the Calendar window, and I get an error msg: "Unable to install the skin! The skin doesn't contain the 'skin.xml' file.". How do I install this widgets file?
I am using Rainlendar Pro v. 2.10 (unregistered) on a windows xp laptop.

Welcome to the forum, iamoraal.
Shadow4-Widgets file is a Shadow4's addon, instead of a skin, it's extension name must be ".r2skin-addon", so it's full-name should be "Shadow4-Widgets.r2skin-addon

Did that. Got err mmsg "The skin Shadow4-Widgets not found" or something to that effect. Had to change the name to "Shadow4.r2skin-addon" which was successful. But I don't see the add-ons.
Tried to add the GWeather add-on but got the msg: The skin GWeather doesn't exist. Unable to merge the addon. Where can I find the skin for this?

Have same problem here and it doesn't want to go itself :c
Maybe there is a way to install Skin with Widgets together? or install some parts manualy?
system: Ubuntu 12.10

You downloaded the addon and it had incorrect file extension? I thought that only happens with Internet Explorer. So, what exactly happens when you try to install the widget addon?
