Currently the calendar always aligns such that the first day of the current month is the first week displayed, so the entire current month and a bit of the beginning/end of the previous/next month are displayed.
Is it possible to instead make it align such that the current week is the first week displayed (i.e., so that the 5 weeks displayed are the current week and the subsequent 4)?
Yes, it's possible. There's an option to keep the current day in place but it isn't usually used.
Install this addon to the Shadow4 skin. It will add a new window called "Calendar Since Today" (yes I know, I'm pretty sure this isn't a good name

, but I can't think anything better). But, you cannot change the showed month because some incorrect behaviour, also, it doesn't have any sense.
I'm not sure if it will be still working when month change and how many future weeks will show. At least this could be a "first test". A better one will need a script file... and some calculations... but will have an option to select the number of weeks shown.
