I'm also getting error messages with a Baikal server. It works fine, until I try to delete an event, when I get the message:

[13:26:12] Google Error (Baikal)!
Unable to delete the event.Server returned result: (0)
401 Unauthorized.

The event is still deleted, though.

I'm using Rainlendar Pro b129.

Weird problem. The authentication seems to cause a redirection which deletes the event but the network library returns the result from the original request. Does this happen only when deleting items or also when you create events? Have you tried if this happens also with the latest beta version too?

It only happens when deleting, not creating. I just installed the beta (b135) and it's the same.

I don't know if it matters, but the Baikal installation is on a shared host, so the domain I use is a virtual machine on another physical machine.

Hi guys

Just a hint for people who are still struggling to get Rainlendar (I am using 2.12.1) working with Baikal (I am using 0.2.6). The default WebDAV authentication type in Rainlendar is basic while with Baikal it is digest. This was the reason why it was not working for me when I tried this the first time.

You can now either change the authentication type of Baikal or - like I did - add a regular CalDAV calendar including the correct calendar name (e.g. HOST/baikal/cal.php/calendars/USER/CAL_NAME) and afterwards change the authentication type in the calendar's settings. This solved my problem and Rainlendar is now working just fine with Baikal Server.

@Rainy
May I make a suggestion. Could you please add the possibility to select the type of authentication while being in the wizard dialog.

Best regards

I could see if it would be possible to make the authentication method automatic. I.e. if the basic fails then try to use the digest instead. That way the user would not even have to know what authentication method the server uses.
