TOPIC: Changing Date Colours

Changing Date Colours 7 Years, 10 Months ago
Hi,

Quick query. I wondered if anyone can give me any advice with changing the colours for each event, for example:

trips -- yellow
exams -- blue
holidays -- green

etc. etc.

If anyone can post any help with this that would be great. I can script HTML, but I've never scripted XML before so please go gently otherwise I won't understand! Many thanks in advance.

Have you read the instructions in the help file how to modify the categories? It describes how to change the colors of the events.

What help file? I've found a readme file but it says something about downloading source codes and nothing about changing any settings.

Just select Help from the Rainlendar's context menu.

Right, I have followed the instructions in the HELP file and modified just one line in the elements.xml file:

Under birthdays, I added the first line...

<appearance target="1" layer="0" priority="1" element="bitmap.numbers.green" align="CENTER" />

and when I re-zip the skin file and rename it, run Rainlendar, I get an error message saying that it is unable to load Rainlendar, see Log for information.

So after following your instructions without success, I repeat: how do I change the colours of the days?! lol
