Heres a quick guide/workaround to get colors to sync with Google calendar

In Google calendar you need to create the colors you want for each calendar. So you need to create multiple calendars in Google and rainlendar.

Example
Create a new calendar in Google calendars, and select a custom color
I set mine up to have the 12 colors available from rainlendar,black, blue, brown, cyan, green, gray, magenta, orange, pink, red, yellow

I name each calendar according to color

In rainlendar, you have to import each google calendar

Options>calendars> add...

select google calendar> next input gmail and password>

Select Calendar>
a list should popup with the google calendar color you made in previous step
Select color> create rainlendar Name of calendar

This step is important:
under the calendar settings select the visual category color to match the google color


The cool thing about this is that I can change colors of events quickly by right clicking event and changing calendar setting by picking new color by name of calendar. And everything syncs back to google.
