This [1] only occurs during startup and [2] even then only maybe one time in ten or more. Throughout, I've made no changes in my startup programs, though it seems to me that they don't always load in the same order.
Rainlendar is set to run at startup. Within one or a few seconds after it appears to have opened normally, this message appears:
wxWidgets Debug Alert
..\..\src\common\ffile.cpp(128): assert "IsOpened()" failed in wxFFile::Read(): can't read from closed file
Do you want to stop the program?
You can also choose [Cancel] to suppress further warnings.
If I choose Yes, this message appears:
Rainlendar2.exe
Rainlendar2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost

Error Report Contents
The following information about your process will be reported:
{since there's a huge amount of data here & I can't copy & paste it & it's (supposedly) being reported, I've not retyped it here}
The following files will be included in this error report:
C:DOCUME~1\Michael\LOCALS~1\TEMP\9b77_appcompat.txt
I don't see that file now.
When I've closed the preceding 3 messages, Rainlendar closes.
When I restart it, it appears to function normally in all respects.
Is there a ready answer to this?
With the last problem I reported, the first suggestion was to run the program in debug mode. However, since Rainlendar doesn't put an entry in WinXP's startup folder, I don't see a way to enable debug mode on startup. (I could RE-start Rainlendar in debug mode, but I've not seen this problem except on system startup.)
