linux shared calendars 1 Year, 3 Months ago
Hello, using rainlendar pro 2.11.1 on ubuntu 12.10.

My calendar is on /home/jj/Ubuntu One//Default.ics,and works great.
Now i need to contact ftp.xxx.xxx/default.ics for a shared calendar.

Can,t find any info for linux how to do this
Need i to start a other rainlendar? If so how to rename that, for files and program used.

Advice/how to greatly welcomed

Welcome to the forum, aardbewoner.

- Go to Rainlendar's "Calendar" options and create new "Network Shared Calendar".
- Input the FTP URL (ftp://xxx.xxx.xx.xx/default.ics) into the "URL" field. The username and password fields can be left empty if not need.
- Click OK and you should see the calendar's events in Rainlendar.

OK that worked Thanks.

Now i want my rainlander running skin shadow4.
And the shared ftp running skin savannah.
What is the best way to do this ? seperate rainlanders ?
If so how to save that in linux so rainlander1 is me rainlander2 is the sahred.
Or are there better ways ?

I guess you are want to :
* At the same time display Shadow4-Event_List and Savannah-Event_List.
* Shadow4-Event_List show yourself's (local) ics file.
* Savannah-Event_List show the share's (ftp) ics file.

a) Right Click > Options > Skins > Advanced
b) Expand Savannah > Event List > Right-arrow
c) Shadow4-Event_List > Settings > Included calendars > select yourself's (local) ics file
d) Savannah-Event_List > Settings > Included calendars > select the share's (ftp) ics file (image omitted)

OK works Partly ,Thank You.

Except i cant have savana and shadow show at the same time,in options only one as soon as i put up the other it remove the "old" skin and options.
Main reason is to seperate the two calendars visualy so i input data in the good calendar

Don't do double click in the skin name, this will replace all the windows. Click on the black arrow, as showed in the anoob's image 2-button 3.
