Error: Unable to create configuration file 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I had uninstalled Rainlendar and had not been using it for a few months and just recently reinstalled it only to received the following error message when trying to open it:

Unable to create configuration file:

C:%HOME_DRIVE%\Users\Username\.rainlendar2\rainlendar2.ini

Make sure that the folder has write permissions.

I have checked in the security settings and my user, the administrator, and the system all have full access/control over this folder.

I have also attempted to run the .exe file as an administrator (right clicking on it and clicking "Run as Administrator) and receive the same error.

In addition, I get the same error message when trying to open Rainlendar options.

I am using the 64-bit version of Windows 7 and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Rainlendar several times with multiple versions of the Rainlendar install file, including the 32-bit and 64-bit versions for both the Lite and Pro editions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The administrator has disabled public write access.

The "%HOME_DRIVE%" should not be in the path. Verify that your HOMEDRIVE and HOMEPATH environment variables are correctly set. You can do that by writing "set" in the command prompt.

Rainy, you're my hero!

I'm not sure how that got screwed up (maybe when I was messing around with Heroku?), but that was the issue.

Thanks!
