Reread iCal file when it was changed 7 Years, 9 Months ago
First version of Rainlendar had very useful option in iCalendar plug-in, such as subj.

Is it possible to find similar option in Railendar2?

Trac access 7 Years, 9 Months ago
Second question.
We use rainlendar for access to Edgewall Trac. Here are official Trac site http://trac.edgewall.org/
We write small tool for two way synchronize of Trac and iCalendar file. That tool is work already but every time user must call refresh. It isn't comfortably. There is two way to resolve:

 • 1. Update feature is needed for that.

 • 2. I find Plug-in API for rainlendar1. Is there available Plug-in API for second version. We can write additional plug-in for direct access of Rainlendar to Trac and place plug at public disposal.

The plugin API is not public yet and it'll probably take a while before I have time to finish it.

One option to refresh the calendar on Windows is to send WM_COMMAND with value 2001 to a window with caption "Rainlendar2 Control Window". I don't know how to do the same in Linux.

I also have a plan to make it possible to run scripts from the command line so you could do automatic refreshing that way too.

It is a great idea to send message directly to the window, but something wrong.

So. Here is my sample.
Code:

Python 2.4.2 (#67, Sep 28 2005, 12:41:11) [MSC v.1310 32 bit (Intel)] on win32
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import win32gui
>>> import win32con
>>> r = win32gui.FindWindow("wxWindowClassNR","Rainlendar2 Control Window"«»)
>>> win32gui.SendMessage(r,win32con.WM_COMMAND,2001,0)
>>> win32gui.SendMessage(r,win32con.WM_COMMAND,0,2001)
>>> win32gui.SendMessage(r,win32con.WM_COMMAND,0,0x2001)
>>> win32gui.SendMessage(r,win32con.WM_COMMAND,0x2001,0)

Nothing happened. I think you wrong in message id or something else but...

I find cheating to resolve my problem.
Options->Hotkeys
Hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+R
Add Hotkey.

Next...
Code:

>>> win32gui.SendMessage(r,win32con.WM_HOTKEY,0,0x00520006)
0

Yes. It work.

Thank you for idea.

The id was wrong. It should be 103. Sorry about that. So, this should work:

win32gui.SendMessage(r,win32con.WM_COMMAND,103,0)
