connecting to remember the milk 7 Years, 9 Months ago
Here's a weird one. I use a network shared calendar called Remember the Milk. I pasted the URL into the options, gave it my username and password, and then I close it. I get a message saying

Network error!

Error downloading the data from the url: webcal://www.rememberthemilk.com/icalendar/teensy/

Server returned result: () unknown error

I open the options again, and take a look, and my password is wrong. I can't read it, of course, but it's many characters too long. I change it and the same thing happens.

Any clue?

Does the link work if you download it with a web browser (change the webdav:// to http://)?

it downloads well enough. then i tried dropping the file into the rainlendar window, which is, i believe, what you're supposed to do, (i read that somewhere, anyway), and i just got an "Unknown file" message. i also tried "Open with: Rainlander2.exe" and generated all sorts of errors.

Post edited by: Teensy, at: 2007/02/12 16:52

Does the file have .ics extension? If you open the file with a text editor does it look something like this:

Remember the milk works perfectly with Rainlendar!

Just change the links from "webcal://" to "".

The only minor issue I have is that since Rainlendar only displays present and future dates, you have to stay on top of your tasks and manually postpone the due dates , otherwise Rainlendar has no way of showing overdue tasks.

It would be neat if the overdue tasks would automatically move from the events list to the "To Do" list.
