Vista Help 7 Years, 5 Months ago
I have recently installed Vista Ultimate 32 and when I have tried to start up rainlendar I receive a message saying "This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

I have tried that and it hasnt worked. I have also downloaded MSVCR71.dll and pasted it in the rainlendar and windows folder but that didnt work.

Any ideas on how I can get Rainlendar working?

THanks
steve

Copying the MSVCR71.dll to Rainlendar's program folder should fix the problem. If it doesn't, you could download DependencyWalker and see if there are some other dll's missing from your system.

Its working!!!! What I did was completely remove rainlendar from my harddrive, reinstall but ticked off the box to start the app right after installation. Then I added the dll and presto...it works!!!

Thanks, this is one app I cant live without!
