Backing up settings and data 7 Years, 6 Months ago
Hello!

I am a happy user of Rainlendar 2.0.2 using Win2K SP4 and I am hoping you can give me some advice.

I backup my entire C drive with an imaging program every month. My problem is that when I restore a backup image, I lose up to a months worth of changes to your programs data.

To fix this situation, I want to make nightly copies of each of your programs files/folders that would store any type of changeable data (eg., user preferences or calendar event or to do entries)

Then, the next time I restore an image of the entire C drive, I would copy the files and/or folders created in my nightly backup routine over top of the restored image and be exactly where I left off the night before.

Can you tell me which specific files/folders I need to copy to preserve all my data?

Many Thanks,

Bullitt

Check the FAQ. It explains where the data is stored and how you can change the location.

Thanks Rainy,

I had searched the forums, but I neglected to search the FAQ's.
