TOPIC: Duplicate events from one calendar to another
#24798
Duplicate events from one calendar to another 3 Weeks, 3 Days ago
Hello
I added a calendar (Office Outlook)
When I create an event, I can create it on both DEFAULT and CALENDAR
But how about the events already created in DEFAULT?
Of course I can edit them one by one.
But is there a way to assign all selected events to a CALENDAR?
Kind regards

You can do that in the Rainlendar's manager dialog (use the "copy to" button).

Hello
The "Copy" button only moves one event from one calendar to another
If I copy for example "at the Doctor" from the calendar DEFAULT on CALENDAR, this event goes well in CALENDAR but is no longer in Default
Kind regards

"Copy" shouldn't do that since there is a separate "Move" action for that purpose. However, some calendars cannot use the event identifiers that Rainlendar uses but generate their own. This can cause unexpected behavior.

Having the same event in multiple calendars is not recommended anyway. Why do you want to have it that way?

Hello
I added an OFFICE calendar, and I linked it with the Outlook calendar .com
I manage events under RAINLENDAR, and can view my schedule on my NOKIA mobile phone. It is in Windows 10, and can thus access the Outlook calendar. com

When I create an event under RAINLANDAR, I place it in both calendars. There, no problem
But sometimes I forget to put it in the other calendar, the one that is linked
In this case, I do not find them in the Outlook calendar .com, so I can see them under my NOKIA mobile phone

Of course I can go back under RAINLANDAR and change these oversights
But you have to make the changes event by event

That's why I'd like to be able to do it for a set of events
Kind regards

Ok. What prevents you from using just the Outlook.com calendar in Rainlendar (I.e. why do you need to have also the local calendar)? You can enable the offline copy if you need to access the events also when you don't have network connectivity.
