TOPIC: Time changed for weekly events
#2578
Time changed for weekly events 7 Years, 7 Months ago
I am living in Canada. I tried to set up an event happening from Mon to Fri, from 11:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. But every time, the Rainlendar would change it to from 10:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. or from 10 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. If I included Sat. and Sun., it would be from 10:00 p.m. to 11:30 a.m., which was still incorrect but reasonable since it was consistently 1 hour less. Anyway, I don't know how this happened and how I can solve this problem. Thanks a lot.

Same problem here. I'm guessing it's related to the change in Daylight Savings Time?

Gah, I have quite a few important things this week which are very time sensitive. I hope they come out with a patch for this soon

Can you tell me what is your timezone? Could you also attach the event?

Eastern time... not sure how to attached an event...but I can add that today, for some reason I was able to change my 9PM weel;u recurring reminder from 8 to 9 and it stuck. Not sure what changed, but yesterday I would make it 9 and close the dialog, open it up again and it would be back at 8.

Ok, I changed my time zone to Eastern Time in the Date and Time Properties and everything to English (United States) in the Regional and Language settings. After a reboot I started Rainlendar and created an event on today (13.3) starting from 10 AM and ending on 11 AM, clicked OK and the Rainlendar showed it correctly.

So, if there is some problem with the DST someone needs to give me detailed instructions how I can reproduce the error.
