TOPIC: Time changed for weekly events
#2599
Re:Time changed for weekly events 7 Years, 9 Months ago
My Sunday 9pm reminder seems to be staying put at 9pm where it belongs...could be a fluke? I'm very sensitive to the issue as my Outlook calendar at work is having a real hard time with the daylight savings time change. Rainlendar is such a joy compared to that monster.

I have one alarm set to go off at 8:59 PM every day but sometimes it goes off one hour early, and just now it went off at midnight instead.

I need some more info than that. Could you attach the event and tell on which day the alarm wasn't shown correctly. I also need all the other information which might affect the DST calculations (mainly the country where you live and your timezone).

Hi. I have the same problem here.
I live in Poland (GMT+1), last night Windows auto-changed to the summer time, so the clock went one hour ahead.
The problem is: today when I try to set up an event, for example, from 09:00 to 13:00, the Rainlendar changes this event "08:00 to 12:00". This is what happens if I choose time from the drop down boxes. If I type the time manually this problem does not happen.

btw. my first post here. Great software! Helped me a lot.

Hi!

I also live in Poland and I have the same problem today because of the DST.

The solution I found was to change the Time Zone in Windows to GMT+2 without DST instead of GMT+1 with DST.

After refreshing Rainlendar the problem disappeared but it's only a by-pass

Except this bug your software is really cool

I've just tested build 35 but the problem persists...

Post edited by: eMU, at: 2007/03/25 11:04

Found the problem. The list of times is incorrect on the day when DST changes. I'll fix it for the next build.
