importing from previous version - problems 7 Years, 10 Months ago
Hi,
I really like version 2 but I can't get my previous data to stick, I can import it through the manager but it won't stay there, every time I refresh or reload it has disappeared - I'm probably missing something very simple here but just don't get it - any ideas please?

Check from Options->Calendars what's the path of the Default.ics file. It should be located in somewhere where you have write permissions.

Thanks Rainy. Maybe I wasn't clear in that post, I'm talking about importing previous data from the Rainlendar 1 - I can import it but it won't stay there. So I can't see why the ics file would help as that's proper to Rainlendar2 isn't it?

The imported events must be stored somewhere and that's the Default.ics file that is defined in the Options dialog. Or is the problem only about the imported events? Does the new events that you create with Rainlendar2 visible after a refresh?

So the problem is that the events cannot be stored to the ics file. Are you logged as a normal user or as an administrator? What if you change the location of the file e.g. to your "My Documents" folder?
