Install beta version over older version 7 Years, 5 Months ago
Hello
First off I just wanted to say that I love this product and use it all the time.
My question is...
How can I install the newest beta version without losing any of my information that is already entered into the calendar. I tried downloading the newest beta version but after I restart the computer it reverts back to the older version (2.0)
Thanks

Anyone?? I want to install the beta version so that I may "hide" one of my calendars. This way I will get a reminder for each event without cluttering up the calendar as it repeats every 3 days
Thanks

Just overwrite your old installation with the files in the beta package. It doesn't overwrite your events or settings.

Thanks Rainy. That seemed to work well. Now how should I go about hiding a particular entry that repeats every 3rd day BUT reminds me with an alarm.

Thanks again

Go to Options->Skins, click Advanced, double click on the "Shadow4 - Calendar" and set the category that the event is using to the "Excluded categories".

Thank you Rainy
That did work. I also set the event list not to show for that category. Checking now to see if the alarm will go off. I just need to go through the "Manager" to see it or edit it.

Edit: The alarm did go off so I think I'll be OK. I don't see the upcoming scheduled dates for it in Manager but I'll just wait to see if it reminds me on every third day
Have a great day!

Post edited by: tpm, at: 2007/04/11 14:34
