license and dualboot systems..? 7 Years, 7 Months ago
Hi,

is it possible to use my license on both my windows XP and my Ubuntu operating systems? They are installed on the same PC, as a dualboot.

I tried, by copying the license file to both systems. But what happens is that only the last operating systems which registered the license is actually registered. On the other os Rainlendar becomes unregistered.

Any ideas?

Post edited by: bibbi, at: 2007/04/13 17:27

SOLVED

Yesterday I installed Ubuntu on my pc, next to Windows, to create a dual boot system. I have been using Rainlendar (registered) on windows for quite a while. I also installed Rainlendar on Ubuntu and used the same license file I used in Windows. No problems so far.

When I booted up in windows again, Rainlendar mentioned the text [Unregistered] on the calendar, each event/task. So I used the same license file on the Windows installation, again.

Now on both Windows and Ubuntu Rainlendar works without a problem, fully registered.
