TOPIC: Alarm on todo item

Alarm on todo item 7 Years, 7 Months ago
I have an alarm that I want to occur daily. Since it is every day I don't want it to appear on the calendar. I added it as a recurring item in the todo list. It has no start time, only a due time at 3:30 pm. I have set the alarm to go off 0 minutes before and 1 minute before and neither works. What am I doing wrong and is there a better way. I have version 2.1.

I did some more experimenting and it looks like a start time is required for the alarm to work.

I just went through the same thing denmarks. You need to go to Options, Skins, Click on Shadow4 event list and choose a category that is to be hidden or excluded from showing. My category I created is "Sammy". I have it set for every third day with the alarm going off but not showing on the calendar or event list itself.

Maybe someone else can better explain it
Good luck

Thank you. That looks like an alternate to do it. The only problem is that is is all or nothing. On the todo list I can have it appear daily at a set time and have the alarm go off at another time.

The alarm for the tasks shouldn't require a start time since it's calculated from the due time. I'll check that.

I tested it and found I had to put a start time as well. I put both times at the same time.
