Multiple user network calendar 7 Years, 4 Months ago
Hello there,
i'm currently searching for a network group calender for a small office of 12 people. I tested the rainlendar 2.2 pro version and i'm almost convinzed of this programm.

I set up 3 calendars on an webdav-webspace (GMX) and was able to access those from multiple computers. I'm now only concerned about the safety of parallel write-access on the same .ics file. Is there a possibility of data-loss and/or corrupted files?

Is it possible to "lock" the files while somebody has write-access or is it maybe already implemented? I searched through the forum and didn't find an answer to that.

Thanks for your time!

Rainlendar hasn't been designed for multiple users (the purpose of the network calendar is to share the events between home and work) so there might be some issues. For example the network file isn't locked during the upload so there is a chance that someone could overwrite the someone else's changes if multiple users try to upload the file at the same time.
