Running on Ubuntu Dapper, initially had problems with skins being visible in the list after install but they wouldn't select. Read the threads here and they didn't help, eventually I went into the advanced view and manually used the --> buttons to copy the settings for each item over, since then skins have selected in Simple mode also, coincidence or bug?

Anyways, onto the main point. For any skin installed so far the background image is missing from the main calendar window. The backgrounds do show quite fine on the Todo and event windows.

Check the ~/.config/.rainlendar2/rainlendar2.log for errors. At least in the Black Panther skin uses different case in the filenames which obviously does not work very well in Linux.
