refresh to bring up calendar 7 Years, 5 Months ago  
Hello It seems I need to refresh the calendar after a restart to view the calendar on the desktop. Is their a setting I'm not aware of?? running the latest version Rainy on a Vista computer

The On Desktop setting doesn't work very well in Vista so if you are using it you might need to switch off the native transparency (Options->Advanced->Transparency type).

So what would I then select? Copy or Region? and what is the difference in the three choices.

You can choose whichever works better for you. Both have their own problems (Copy transparency can include parts of other windows and the Region transparency has aliased edges).
