Keeping modifications when computer restarts 6 Years, 6 Months ago

HEllo i'm very new to this program and I was wondering if anyone could help me (or redirect me to a thread that discusses this).
Whenever i restart my computer, the settings and skin modifications i make are lost, and i have to redo them all over again. Is there a way to avoid this?

Could you provide your log out put, I think after the restart would be good.
The log can be found (I'm guessing windows here) C:\Documents and Settings\"user name"\Application Data\rainlendar2
Note that Application data folder is a hidden folder. You can a) type "Application Data" into the address bar. b) go to tools->folder options, I believe the second tab and click on the show/hide hidded folders.

umm I found the hidden folder you're referring to but there are no rainlendar files located in it.

Odd, that is probably related to the reason that you aren't having the settings kept. I've reach the end of my ability to help.

The settings actually are not anymore in the Application Data folder but one level before it (C:/Documents and Settings/"YourName"/.rainlendar2).
Joaris333: Try making portable installation to a folder which doesn't ave any foreign characters. There is a bug that prevents R2 from loading/saving the events to a folder with non-ascii chars. Or you can also try the new build 26 (see the beta forum) which has this bug fixed.
