Google calendar vs. rain vs. timezone 6 Years, 10 Months ago
Hi,

my callendar is at GMT+1 timezone, my computer is at GMT timezone

when i'm adding something from rain to google it -1h, same with synchronization

is there any option to off this feature? i need to have online calendar in gmt+1 (for other ppl) and my computer at gmt but i need same times withnout +1 or -1 hour

thanks

Different timezones are not supported at the moment so you need to use the same timezone in your computer as in Google.

With me the time zones are the same and the calendar sets everything at +1h. Any idea what could cause that?

I have a similar problem, however it occurs only under the following circumstances:

On my Android smartphone I use "Business Calendar" app to synchronize my Google calendar entries.
On my computer I use Rainlendar to display and create my Google calendar entries.

If I create a new entry with Raindlendar or with Google calendar in my browser, the time is always correct.

Do I use my smartphone, however, the entry in my smarthphone AND in the Google calendar are correct. Yet, Rainlendar adds +1 hour on my computer. (And Rainlendar does NOT change the entries on Google calendar)

I cannot figure out, why Rainlendar adds +1 hour to the time of my smartphone entry. I cannot use the time delay setting of Rainlendar. Entries made with my smartphone would be displayed then correctly, but creating a new entry with Raindlendar would end in a wrong timespan (-1h) (as well as displaying entries made in Google calendar via Browser).

I have tried the latest stable build (2.12) as well as the latest beta.

Do you have a clue, where the error occurs?

There is a bug in the current Rainlendar build related to the Google calendar. If the event defines a separate time zone it won't be shown correctly in Rainlendar. The bug will be fixed in the next build. As a workaround you can remove the time zone information from the event in Google's website or use the "Google Calendar (deprecated)" calendar in Rainlendar which doesn't not have the bug.
