TOPIC: Trouble to change language on the calendar

Trouble to change language on the calendar 10 Years, 3 Months ago
I have downloaded “Norwegian.r2lang” and “Shadow4.r2skin-addon” and installed them in Reinlender version 2.2 (b44).
Both files are successfully installed, but when I select Norwegian language “calendar”, “events” and “To do” are still in English. Menus are displayed in Norwegian language.

What have I done wrong?

Hi
You have done nothing wrong. I assume you are talking about the "bokmål" version....
There's something wrong in the software at this point.
If you un-zip the "Shadow4.r2skin" you can go to 'Shadow4 -> images' and you will find files like: Weekdays-Norwegian.png
Rename the files and add the string ' (Bokmal)' to (Weekdays-Norwegian (Bokmal).png) and everything works as expected.
Just some confusion with the silly Nynorsk-thing I guess..

Norwegian language - and other national stuff 10 Years, 2 Months ago
Rainy, see below, any point in collating all the national stuff for common download somewhere?

OisteinR, I see you've done a job of translating Rainlender into Norwegian. Although I don't use it (or any other Norwegian software translations for that matter), I do have calendars for Norwegian school-holidays, Norwegian Public holidays (fixed and movable for the next 4 years), obligatory flag days, full moon and eclipses in Oslo etc. All the stuff they put in calendars.

I also have an almost ready skin to match - shows public holidays and weekends in red, Norwegian flag on flag days, candles notable events etc. It seems to me that there is a full pack available.

Although all of this stuff was intended for me and my colleagues, I sort of get the feeling it could be shared.

Any thoughts? (Will be traveling for the next 2-3 weeks - so if I don't reply immediately...)

I probably don't have time to maintain such download page but I could take a look at the wiki modules for Joomla where everyone who is interested could add links and other information

Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't expect you to bother with this. You've done your bit. My question was if it would make sense to complete a package as an add-on to your product. It could be a complete package for schools etc - and you sort of have the potential commercial interest here (lawyer speaking).

wiki modules for Joomla where everyone who is interested could add _link_s

Will check that out in a couple of weeks. Thanks.
