Enable on Startup 8 Years, 1 Month ago
With or WITHOUT "enable on startup" checked in the general tab, Rainlendar starts with Windows; I don't WANT it to start with Windows.

Is there a registry file I can edit or something to solve this?

Try the startup folder: startmenu > programs > startup.
Either way, any Windows user should know about StartupCPL to keep tabs on the amount of $#!& in the startup config...

Post edited by: Ace_NoOne, at: 2006/11/07 05:47

Thanks, Ace, but that one I knew about.

Might try your prog, but regardless, it reminded me that I can control this behavior through MSConfig. It's not the best answer in the world -- but it'll work.

Anyone else have an idea?

Although probably not the correct way to solve the programs startup problem, StartupCPL is a very good solution. As well, it provided me with a way to configure an alternate config file location on startup.

Like this...
Code:

"C:\Program Files\Rainlendar2\Rainlendar2.exe" --config="C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.rainlendar2"
