Bug: Multiple Network Calendars 7 Years, 10 Months ago
I just tried adding a second network calendar and found if you have two network calendars, both requiring username / passwords, located on the same domain, rainlendar incorrectly reports authentication failures (401 errors)

I am wondering if this is a limitation of the way webdev / apache authenticates or just a bug inside rainlendar it's self.

Either way, so cannot get two network calendars to work

Sidenote: I have gotten both to work however the updating is really hit and miss, I am getting a LOT of 401 errors (only with TWO network calendars, one calendar works fine)..

I have the same problem with more as one Network-Calendar. At startup of Rainlendar i got the authentication failures. If I make an update, its works.

I have an Apache with DAV. The access-log show:
AT STARTUP::

81.173.182.71 - user [02/Nov/2006:15:13:05 +0100] "GET /kalender/cal1.ics HTTP/1.1" 200 19555
81.173.182.71 - - [02/Nov/2006:15:13:07 +0100] "GET /kalender/cal2.ics HTTP/1.1" 401 1371
81.173.182.71 - - [02/Nov/2006:15:13:07 +0100] "GET /kalender/cal3.ics HTTP/1.1" 401 1373

AT UPDATE
81.173.182.71 - user [02/Nov/2006:15:20:59 +0100] "GET /kalender/cal1.ics HTTP/1.1" 200 7915
81.173.182.71 - user [02/Nov/2006:15:21:00 +0100] "GET /kalender/cal2.ics HTTP/1.1" 200 2401
81.173.182.71 - user [02/Nov/2006:15:21:00 +0100] "GET /kalender/cal3.ics HTTP/1.1" 200 19555

there is a difference by request! I hope this can help

I'm not able to reproduce this. I tried with 10 network calendars and all of them managed to authenticate just fine. Is the problem in Windows or Linux version?

Linux / Apache 2 Webdev module / Windows Client and you usually see the following in the Apache Error Log

[Tue Nov 07 01:32:41 2006] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] user xxxxxxxx: authentication failure for "/xxxx/xxxxxx.ics": Password Mismatch

Typically the issue is during initial Windows Startup but every now and then I get the odd failure..

Suggest maybe a delay of say 60 seconds before it polls during startup to help stop the network is not ready issue, the other 401 during updating also has me puzzled. Can we generate some kind of log for you rainy??

I'll add some logging to the next version.
